Sounding
Before any recommendation: what is actually happening. Conversations with the people closest to the decision, a read of what has already been said, and an honest account of how the organization is currently perceived — internally as well as externally.
This stage frequently reveals that the presenting problem is not the problem. That is a useful outcome, not a detour.

Structure
Complexity is ordered into something a leadership team can hold in mind: what is being decided, who it affects, in what order they hear it, and the few things that must be true in every telling.
Message architecture, audience map, and sequence — written so that someone who was not in the room can carry it accurately.

Alignment
A credible path forward is only credible if the people delivering it agree it is true. Leaders are prepared, objections are surfaced early, and the difficult questions are answered before they are asked in public.

Announcements are events; trust is a cadence. The engagement ends with the operating rhythm — who communicates what, how often, through which forum — and the measures that show whether it is working.
